Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the logistics industry required
  • English and Korean bilingual preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery
  • Review and process shipping documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, Arrival Notice)
  • File ISF (10+2) and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
  • Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and resolve clearance issues
  • Arrange drayage, rail, and final delivery with trucking companies
  • Monitor vessel schedules and provide ETA updates to customers
  • Handle demurrage, detention, and per diem issues
  • Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, and customers
  • Issue arrival notices and process freight invoices
  • Resolve cargo delays, discrepancies, or damages
  • Coordinate ocean export shipments from booking to vessel departure
  • Prepare and submit shipping instructions (SI) to ocean carriers
  • Ensure timely filing of AES/EEI and obtain ITN numbers
  • Verify export documentation (B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List)
  • Coordinate container pickup, loading, and return
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and carrier requirements
  • Communicate with shippers, overseas agents, and carriers
  • Track vessel schedules and confirm cargo loading
  • Handle export billing and cost confirmation
  • Resolve booking, documentation, or cut-off related issues
