About The Position

Responsible for safely operating large off-highway haul trucks to transport materials such as rock, soil, sand, or gravel within a construction site. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, efficient material movement, and routine equipment inspections.

Requirements

Experience in stockpiling
Familiarity with excavations and heavy lifting.
Have a valid driver’s license
Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
Must have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience preferred
Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently

Responsibilities

Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Operate the haul truck and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Ensure haul truck is in proper gear and is not moving to fast for working conditions.
Observe hand signals, grade stakes or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Good vision and depth perception
Able to communicate clearly and take instructions
Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.
Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating equipment so that work can be performed in a safe and quality manner.
