About The Position

Duties Duties include but are not limited to the following: Greet all growers, truck drivers, customers, and visitors with professionalism and provide them with exceptional customer service. Ensure all Star of the West customers, growers, visitors and drivers sign in and acknowledge facility GMP's. Operate truck scale to weigh all inbound and outbound loads as well as internal transfers and provide corresponding weight certificates. Provide facility site map and verbal instructions to drivers to route them to appropriate receiving pits and/or shipping docks. Prepare daily shipping documents by lot and purchase order numbers for operations personnel to complete for all outbound shipments. Complete all inbound receiving paperwork and enter all bean receipts and grades in company ERP system and file hard copies accordingly. Complete all outbound shipment paperwork and enter load information in company ERP system and file hard copies accordingly. Prepare, label and properly store grower and processing retain samples. Manage and save all digital load pictures on company drive. Answer and route all incoming phone calls. Maintain an organized work environment. Assist personnel with grower compliance record keeping. Process and fulfill small wholesale bean orders. Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting. Forward requested receiving and shipping records for proper accounting and billing. Be available for extended hours including weekends during peak times. Proactively offer facility and system improvements. Report any issues involving sanitation, food safety or quality to management. Responsible to be actively involved and participate in the food safety and safety program. Arrange, prepare documents and schedule food safety and plant safety trainings. File documents and records according to facility food safety management system. Comply with all food safety management system requirements. Reports any customer, grower, driver or vendor complaints immediately to management. Provide reports as requested to management and corporate personnel. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficient in typing and data entry. Physical Demands Physically able to perform all requirements including but not limited to: The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, including but not limited to: Frequent use of hands to handle, manipulate, or operate objects, tools, and laboratory equipment, including handling ingredient samples and operating testing instruments. Requirements
