About The Position

This position will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Early Learning Center.   Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Requirements

  • High school degree required or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience
  • Must consistently demonstrate patience, tact, and a positive, friendly, caring attitude with colleagues and visitors.  Professional attitude and appearance is a must.
  • Ability to respect, promote, accommodate, and not be in conflict with the mission, moral, and social teachings, doctrines, and laws of the Roman Catholic faith
  • Knowledge of religious/ecclesial terminology and protocol is strongly preferred
  • Must have the ability to work independently and exercise a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with all Microsoft Office software
  • Advanced organizational skills and problem solving
  • Honors, respects, and cares for all people; displays cultural diversity awareness and sensitivity
  • Must successfully pass the required criminal background check prior to employment and every five years; must complete Protecting God’s Children (PGC) workshop prior to employment. Responsibilities

  • Organizes files, both paper and electronic, and scans/enters data to assist in the diocesan-wide project to digitize files
  • Assists in processing bills – coding, making copies, and filing
  • Creates neat and professional correspondence, reports, emails, free from error with good grammar and proper English; proofreads and edits materials; duplicates and distributes materials as necessary
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties, as assigned
