About The Position

Responsible for the reception and secretarial area Coordinate functions and activities of the department including taking referrals, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance and telephone support Responsible for maintaining an efficient check-in process, compiling reports, and maintaining medical records Requires frequent contact with attorneys, physicians, insurance companies, employers, patients, and their families, correspondence and in the clinic Responsible for indirect supervision within the office area, ensuring that the director is informed of any problem areas within the office Shift Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Must have the ability to communicate well
  • Knowledge of insurance claims processing and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in typing and computer utilization
