About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to lead daily operations for a fast-growing Neurology and Psychiatry medical practice in Yonkers, New York. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical office administration who thrives in a busy clinical environment. The Office Manager will oversee both front-office and back-office functions, ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate billing, compliant operations, and a positive experience for patients and providers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workflow efficiency, staff performance, and the overall success of the practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical office management experience in a medical practice setting
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong knowledge of medical scheduling, billing, and insurance workflows
  • Proven experience managing staff and coordinating daily operations
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, medical billing software, and office management platforms
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a fast-paced clinical office
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the front office and back office to ensure smooth patient and provider workflows
  • Manage and supervise administrative, clinical support, and front desk staff
  • Create, maintain, and optimize provider schedules, staff schedules, and patient appointment flow
  • Monitor patient check-in, check-out, registration, and medical record accuracy
  • Oversee medical billing, coding, claims submission, and payment posting
  • Manage insurance verification, prior authorizations, and eligibility workflows
  • Resolve billing issues, patient inquiries, and insurance discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and internal policies
  • Coordinate communication between providers, billing teams, and administrative staff
  • Ensure proper documentation, charting, and data entry across all systems
  • Track office performance, workflow efficiency, and revenue cycle metrics
  • Maintain inventory, office supplies, and clinical administrative resources
  • Handle patient complaints and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
  • Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical leadership with administrative needs
