IST Management is seeking an Office Services Associate for the downtown Chicago team! The Office Services Associate is responsible for providing Corporate mailroom, backup reception and other support services on-site in a professional office team environment. Ideal candidates are customer focused, possess prior relevant experience, are tech savvy, and are willing to train as necessary. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • Access to reliable transportation to and from work; Lifting up to 50 pounds, walking and standing for extended periods of time
  • Back up Receptionist area at times

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Mailroom services- scan/sort/delivery of mail and packages throughout site to appropriate client personnel
  • Reception services- backup main reception area as necessary for breaks and absences- answer and direct multi-line phones and direct calls, answer inquiries from customers, greet and welcome client visitors
  • Ordering supplies, maintain supply inventory
  • Must be able to lift 50 + pounds
  • Will be standing for long periods of time
  • Be able to back up the receptionist area at times
  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Take direction from supervisor or site manager
  • Participate in cross-training; Adhere to all safety procedures; Perform other tasks as assigned
