On Call Banquet Server
About The Position
DoubleTree by the Galleria employs people that are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. If you have previous banquet, catering or restaurant serving experience, submit your resume to apply! Job Description: -Set up event space and meeting room as required by the banquet event order to include table set up, linen, dining ware, glassware, buffet lines and coffee breaks. -Attend pre-shift meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations. -Serve and replenish food and/or beverage in a friendly and hospitable manner and promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course. -Break down set up and clean meeting spaces.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, banquet or catering serving experience required
- Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- TABC and Food Handlers certification required
- Able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
