About The Position

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is seeking a reliable and professional On-call Banquet Server to join our team in Savannah, GA. As an On-call Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service during special events, banquets, and private functions. This position requires flexibility and availability to work on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
Ability to work on-call and maintain flexible availability.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment as needed.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications and layouts.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events.
Assist with clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
Work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure smooth event operations.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Respond promptly to on-call requests and be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
