About The Position

We’re currently hiring for an on call-time Production Artist. Do you have an Eagle Eye? And you can spot an image in the wrong resolution at 100 yards. But you also see the big picture. You’ve got what it takes to pick up a concept and run with it straight through to pre-print, pre-web, or pre-whatever for advertising and marketing materials that aren’t just pre-mier. As a Production Artist , you will: Have solid knowledge of Word templates and PPT/PPT templates Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers. Create files for client review. Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing. Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners. Prepare files for online, web, and mobile applications. Prepare fillable pdfs, including formulas. Helpful if you have HTML knowledge for email coding.

Requirements

• Five or more years of creative experience within agency and/or marketing environments.
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• An exceptional eye for detail, with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• A solid knowledge of the printing processes and preflighting tools.
• Understand Section 508 Accessibility requirements and help prepare documents for 508 remediation.
• The ability to gracefully handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-speed environment.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Office applications helpful but not required, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Helpful if you have HTML knowledge for email coding.
