About The Position

Luther Village Senior Living Community is seeking a dependable and professional On-Call Security Officer to provide evening coverage on an as-needed basis. This position covers vacations, sick days, and other staffing needs. The ideal candidate understands the importance of safety, customer service, and professionalism in a senior living environment.
This role requires flexibility and availability during evening hours, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Prior security experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment in emergency situations
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
• Ability to walk for extended periods and work independently
• Must be available on an on-call basis 7 days per week, including holidays

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the community during evening hours (5:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds
• Respond promptly to resident and staff concerns
• Monitor entrances and ensure visitor check-in procedures are followed
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs
• Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and guests
