About The Position

Whiteboard Risk & Insurance Solutions is seeking a On-Site Workplace Safety Coordinator to join our team in an on-site capacity at one of our client locations . This role is responsible for supporting the client’s workforce by helping implement and maintain effective workplace safety programs that reduce injuries and improve overall risk management. The Workplace Safety Coordinator will work closely with our client’s leadership team, employees, and Whiteboard’s on-site Triage Technician to promote a strong culture of safety. This role will serve as a visible and approachable safety resource for employees while helping ensure safety procedures, training initiatives, and documentation requirements are consistently maintained. While the primary responsibility of this role is supporting the assigned client location, the Workplace Safety Coordinator may occasionally travel to other client locations to assist with safety trainings and workplace safety briefings when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in workplace safety, risk management, or occupational health and safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Experience conducting safety trainings or leading workplace safety initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site client-facing environment.
  • Experience working within the Microsoft 365 environment

Nice To Haves

  • Professional safety certifications (OSHA, CSP, or similar) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an on-site safety resource for employees and management at the client’s workplace.
  • Conduct regular workplace safety trainings and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Ensure employees review and sign required workplace safety acknowledgement forms.
  • Facilitate and lead regular workplace safety committee meetings.
  • Work closely with the on-site Whiteboard Triage Technician to support injury prevention efforts.
  • Identify potential workplace hazards and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining safety documentation and workplace safety compliance records.
  • Promote a strong workplace safety culture through consistent communication and employee engagement.
  • Support initiatives designed to reduce Workers’ Compensation injuries and post-termination claims.
  • Occasionally travel to other client locations to provide safety trainings and workplace safety briefings.
