As our Onsite Maintenance Technician , you'll play a vital role in ensuring our apartment communities remain comfortable, welcoming, and in excellent condition year-round.
Requirements
- 2+ years of general maintenance or building repair experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate maintenance and landscaping equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Positive, customer-service mindset with good communication skills
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, safety-focused, and a team player
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting
- Complete unit turnovers with touch-up work, fixture replacements, and readiness inspections
- Handle resident work orders promptly and professionally
- Maintain property grounds: landscaping, debris removal, seasonal plantings, and snow/ice removal
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs and after-hours emergencies as scheduled
- Support safety, cleanliness, and compliance across all community facilities
