About The Position

ABOUT THIS ROLE As the Onsite Support Manager (OSM-PM) for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), your role involves ensuring operational and service quality for Float Residential Specialists and the On-call Residential Specialist pool. You address coverage needs during planned and unplanned staff absences, manage after-hours shift rotations, and supervise the Tenant Support Aid program. Collaborating with Site Directors and the PSH team, you contribute to maintaining robust staffing and supporting tenant housing stability, aligning with Plymouth’s mission and cultural proficiency principles. Your responsibilities also include serving as the primary administrative user for PSH’s shift management software and ensuring fair housing and high-quality services in a culturally proficient manner. This integrated approach supports resident well-being and community within the onsite PSH team. You will provide support, direction, and oversight to teams, ensuring high-quality, positive, and cohesive resident interactions. Your commitment extends to working swing, overnight, or weekends as needed for the 24/7 operational requirements. Through these responsibilities, you play a crucial role in upholding Plymouth’s values and delivering high-quality services in the context of permanent supportive housing. In this role, you will predominantly work overnight shifts and will be required to work at least one weekend day.

Requirements

  • You are able to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group o f voices.

  • You have group training and facilitation experience.
  • You are proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom and Outlook and able to work efficiently and effectively with customized databases and technology and conduct Internet research.
  • Must be able to arrive at Downtown Seattle buildings within 45 minutes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or an equal combination of education or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory and management experience.
  • Valid Washington State Driver License and fully insurable driving record.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software is desired.
  • Experience supervising a unionized workforce is desired.
  • Knowledge of Property Management or Permanent Supportive Housing is desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant and progressively responsible leadership experience providing permanent supportive housing and/or services to low-income residents and people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, and people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds is strongly preferred.
  • Have previous experience working late night or graveyard shifts.
  • Ability to be productive with minimal supervision and be able to ensure high productivity at all hours.

Responsibilities

  • Foster teamwork and cooperative approaches among staff.
  • Collaborate with Site Directors for organized team meetings and effective communication.
  • Provide support, guidance, and oversight to volunteers/interns.
  • Proactively implement harm reduction, housing first, and evidence-based models.
  • Lead and support the Float RS and On-call RS.
  • Collaborate with building leadership for effective float/on-call placements.
  • Work with PSH stakeholders to meet coverage needs.
  • Participate in Plymouth committees, workgroups, and stakeholder collaborations.
  • Cultivate a collaborative team focused on residents' well-being.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with residents, ensuring a safe and inclusive living environment.
  • Ensure tenants receive quality case management services, addressing barriers.
  • Manage daily operations in the Site Director's absence and respond to incidents across the portfolio promptly.
  • Support building staff to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
  • Monitor daily log entries, oversee grant compliance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Drive and supervise float staff, coordinating with building leadership for resident support needs.
