About The Position

Assists perioperative nurses and anesthesia care providers with patient care and perform delegated patient care procedures in Surgical Services. Checks and restocks supplies; moves medical equipment; may prepare equipment for use; and cleans and returns equipment to correct storage locations after use. Performs between case/end-of-case cleaning in the procedure rooms; performs anesthesia turnovers between patients and at end of schedule; and assists in maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Successful completion of operating room technician onboarding and training with proficient skills in all surgical specialties.
• HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Certification in related healthcare field.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a resource in preoperative specialty and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a resource in anesthesia and emergency anesthesia.
