About The Position

Operational Excellence Specialist – Reedsville, PA Drive measurable performance improvement across manufacturing operations by leading productivity initiatives, deploying standardized methods, and strengthening Operational Excellence capabilities. Your role: You will plan and execute productivity improvements with an end-to-end value chain mindset, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and measurable business impact. Your work will directly influence cost savings, quality performance, and delivery reliability. You will collaborate with site leadership to implement structured improvement plans, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and streamline operational processes across manufacturing and supply chain functions. You will support the deployment of new critical capabilities and standardized operational methods introduced through the Intraoperative Surgical Checklist (ISC) transformation, ensuring sustainable integration within site operations. You will lead and sustain Kaizen events, Six Sigma initiatives, and 6S activities, maintaining the integrity of Operational Excellence methodologies and tools while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will assess Operational Excellence maturity using structured frameworks, facilitate problem-solving workshops, and support training initiatives that enhance organizational capability and long-term performance sustainability. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related operational roles as an individual contributor driving process improvements; or you hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with relevant project or internship experience. Your skills include Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen facilitation, 6S implementation, value stream mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), change management, and data-driven problem solving. Experience with productivity improvement, cost optimization, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement is required. Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is preferred. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in PA is $96,000 to $152,400 per year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
