Job Summary: The Entry Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement process within the organization. This role involves assisting in the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The Entry Buyer works closely with senior buyers and procurement supervisors to ensure that purchasing activities align with company policies and objectives. Key responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, conducting market research, and participating in supplier evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
