What you will gain Our Summer Internship Program, beginning in June 2026, provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship. The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students and/or graduate level students who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027. Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Dallas, TX. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location. Salary: $62,400/year Before applying, please keep in mind that our internship program does not offer any relocation assistance. As an Operational Risk intern, you will come out of this experience with an understanding of how we publish our Operational Risk Reporting and Analytics Hub. You will gain direct knowledge of reporting and monitoring requests and could include exposure to Targeted Reviews with data analytics and date deep dives.

Requirements

• An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Area of Study: Finance, Economics, Stats, Data analytics, Data Science or any equivalent quantitative field.
• Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above.
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage.
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required.
• Analytical thinkers with a strong attention to detail.
• Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently on special projects.
• Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business. (Preferred)
• Experience in Microsoft Office products. (Preferred)
• Experience in Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow (Preferred)
• Experience in PowerBI (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing for a new ServiceNow ticketing system
• Handle Project Management of the team’s sprints
• Documentation Maintenance
• Perform Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing of PowerBI Dashboards
• Data Extractions within Excel
