About The Position

The Operations Administrative Support Specialist enhances the effectiveness of the Operations Department by delivering comprehensive information management support, implementing and maintaining administrative systems, procedures, and tracking policies, and ensuring timely follow up on departmental projects.  This is a position that works independently, with minimal instruction or supervision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years practical experience working in a similar position
  • Basic computer skills; word, excel and email - required
  • Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree – preferred, but work experience acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes guests, vendors, consultants, etc. by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answers or refers inquiries.
  • Assists in maintaining schedules and organization of meetings.
  • Maintains on-going administrative files for vendors and projects.
  • Assists with templating of schedules for procedures and clinical calendars.
  • Assists in HIPAA duties as requested.
  • Assists with the setup of spaces for employee events.
