About The Position

We're looking for a Part-Time Operations Coordinator to be a key operational support of our People team and provide an exemplary workplace experience. This is a generalist role that sits at the intersection of operations and office management, supporting everything from employee documentation and compliance to workplace programs and the day-to-day feel of our office environment. You're someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in the details, and genuinely cares about the employee experience. This is a part-time position for two (2) days per week in our NYC office.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, People Ops, office management, or an administrative role (internship counts)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Clear, professional communicator with a service-oriented mindset
  • Discretion when handling sensitive employee information

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to an HRIS platform; familiarity with Justworks is a plus
  • Experience coordinating events or supporting office operations
  • Some familiarity with recruiting coordination or ATS tools
  • Basic understanding of HR compliance concepts (I-9, leave administration, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with headcount and HR metric reports, and perform data analysis using Excel tools such as pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Support compliance and administrative processes, including I-9 audits, leave of absence projects, benefits administration, performance cycle execution, and HR record-keeping
  • Assist with recruiting coordination and contribute to the continuous improvement of Ops workflows, team meetings, and company-wide initiatives
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of an exemplary employee experience across programs, including large-scale events, day-to-day office support, swag, and team building events, while partnering with the Operations team on new initiatives.
  • Maintain the office's overall look and feel, creating and documenting operational standards where they don't yet exist.
  • Support the planning and execution of company onsites, coordinating logistics such as venue sourcing, catering, materials, and on-site setup to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees
