About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator, to help with operational functions of our trailer sales business, specializing in refrigerated trailers (Reefer) and dry vans. This Role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, supporting sales logistics, and ensuring inventory and delivery of units.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating with multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, asset-driven environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in trailer sales, trucking, fleet operations, or heavy equipment preferred
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and dry vans strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Excel and inventory, CRM, or ERP systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical, and background check

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with quotes, specifications, invoices, and customer documentation
• Sales orders from deal confirmation through delivery of units.
• Help with marketing tools, including flyers, promotions, and social media support
• Track and maintain inventory records for new reefers and dry vans
• Monitor VINs, specifications, pricing, condition reports, and unit availability
• Update specifications and photos in the inventory management system
• Coordinate inspections, repairs, detailing, and sale readiness
• Approve purchase orders, place units on Holds, and trailer movements from the plant
• Track inventory aging and support leadership with pricing and disposition decisions
• Ensure all reefer units are properly registered with Thermo-King or Carrier prior to sale
• Run weekly reports on holds and quotes for internal sales and operations meetings
• Coordinate trailer pickups, deliveries, and transfers from the plant
• Work closely with transport providers, yard personnel, and service vendors
• Manage yard scheduling and space utilization to support efficient operations
• Receive and check in trailers upon arrival.
