About The Position

Located just outside Nashville, we are reshaping how communities and companies manage waste, source power, and achieve sustainability initiatives. We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator who strengthens and scales that foundation; someone who builds durable systems, automates intelligently, documents thoroughly, and executes with consistency. You will own and refine the internal infrastructure that keeps engineering, finance, and leadership operating at full velocity.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, office management, or administrative coordination
  • Strong bookkeeping/QuickBooks experience
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors to execute business objectives
  • Experience managing SaaS systems (Google Workspace, Slack, CRM, etc.)
  • Exceptional organization and documentation discipline
  • High ownership mentality with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an early-stage company
  • Familiarity with permitting or compliance documentation for local, regional, and federal regulations
  • Experience coordinating and managing IT systems

Responsibilities

  • Own daily office operations to maintain a professional work environment, including, but not limited to, directing visitors, overseeing reception and office communications, and maintaining office supplies
  • Execute workflows across onboarding, approvals, and purchases
  • Serve as internal IT lead, coordinating with consultants and managing access controls, devices, and software licenses
  • Review and coordinate general business contract language, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company standards, and alignment with operational needs
  • Lead vendor relationships and service coordination to ensure reliable office maintenance, cost control, and timely issue resolution
  • Administer QuickBooks, including invoices, expenses, vendor payments, and month-end support
  • Maintain organized documentation, SOPs, and compliance records
  • Support documentation for permitting and federal contract management
  • Lead and execute cross-functional operational initiatives to support company growth and evolving business needs
