The Lindens Operations Coordinator provides ongoing monitoring of the children's Lindens Center for Autism program to ensure staff compliance with Bancroft training policies. Coordinates all staffing, recruitment, and training needs for the specified program to ensure a fully staffed operation and maximum provision of care for persons served.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in a coordinator capacity.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills are required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, the ability to act independently, respond quickly, and work within tight timeframes required.
  • Operative knowledge of Kronos, MS Office Word and Excel required.
  • Valid driver’s license required in incumbent’s legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with neurologically-impaired individuals is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with program management on a daily basis to ensure a fully staffed program of day, night, and substitute Program Associates and the maintenance of all levels of supervision for persons served, while operating in accordance with the approved budget, staffing ratio for each program.
  • Ensures adequate coverage for all staffing vacancies and medical leaves and for night duty staff approved time-off requests.
  • Supports on-call supervisors to ensure coverage of all shifts as outlined in program requirements.
  • Working in conjunction with program administration and the Human Resources Department, actively participating in the applicant hiring process.
  • Interviews and screens applicants to identify qualified candidates, appropriately explain job content and performance expectations to applicants and makes the final decision on applicant selections.
  • Provides supervision and oversight to direct reports
  • Oversees vehicle management within their program site. Scheduling and coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of the program's vehicles.
  • Acts as the primary timekeeper for assigned programs. Functions as a liaison between the Payroll Department and program management.
  • Performs related payroll activities including verification of work hours on timecards, reconciliation of time cards with edit sheets, etc.
  • Coordinates payroll process with other Bancroft departments to ensure accurate and timely payment to staff in the event he/she is working in multiple.
  • Coordinates new and existing staff training to include on-site training, mentor training, required certification and recertification, and department training.
  • Maintains staff training database and updates appropriately.
  • Tracks the timely completion of staff competency checklist packet for all new staff including the completion of the initial checklists within 90 days and the remainder of the checklists within 12 months of hire.
  • Serves as a role model to persons served by projecting a positive self-image of professionalism, appearance, courtesy, conduct, honesty, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for the fundamental rights, dignity, and privacy of others.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary; e.g., performs special projects, serves on performance improvement teams, etc.
  • Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by program needs.
