Our 10–12 week Operations Internship Program isn’t just a job—it’s your launchpad. For the duration of the internship, all candidates will relocate to New Albany, OH, for an immersive, hands-on experience at our Power Innovation asset. Requirements

Required: High School Diploma/GED
Current enrollment in and completion of one semester of a technical associates or certificate program -- Industrial Technology Program, Diesel Technology Program, Electrical or I&E Program, Transportation and Applied Technology Program at Owens CC, Terra State CC, Lorain CCC, Penta Career Center, or an equivalent accredited technical institution
Must be willing to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as the need arises
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools
Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
This position is not eligible for sponsorship
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Possesses strong problem solving, analytical, creative thinking, and verbal/written communication skills

Responsibilities

Trains in electrical, instrumentation and controls; provides I/E support
Participates in flow path training
Performs transmitter calibrations
Completes line locations, pigging, valve maintenance, daily rounds and readings within the gathering system
Builds mechanical knowledge while conducting tasks associated with mechanical maintenance, preventative maintenance, compliance activities, and general cleaning of facilities/assets
Assists with a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support operations, while collaborating with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems
Acquires knowledge of and follows requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
Other duties as assigned
