Intern-Operations for our Burlington, NJ location SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Are you looking for the opportunity to gain real-world experience working with expert Operations Leaders and understanding operations and processes within a Distribution Center. You will be exposed to wholesale/omni-channel distribution, transportation, and e-commerce fulfillment, among a variety of other pieces of our business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or anticipated graduation within 1 year, in business, supply chain or logistics related area
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems or software
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data into meaningful information
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, verbal and written
  • Self-driven, motivated, and organized
  • You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders to understand reporting tools
  • Capacity planning
  • Attend and participate in meetings to review daily production and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Become familiar with labor planning and utilization
  • Learn how to develop KPIs and associated reporting
  • Customer service-level reporting
  • Identify sources of data and processes to obtain data
  • Document processes/procedures and support in training and implementation of the reporting processes
  • Report progress on efforts to Management
  • Assist in driving the improvement of processes and systems, contributing to programs with long-term benefits for the organization.
