About The Position

The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of Lightshift Energy’s operating asset portfolio. This role oversees day-to-day asset performance, manages internal and third-party O&M providers, and ensures compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Asset Operations & Performance Own technical performance of Lightshift Energy’s operating assets. Monitor asset performance and drive corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis for outages and underperformance. Maintenance Strategy & Execution Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Manage spare parts strategy. Vendor & Contractor Management Manage third-party O&M providers and service contractors. Enforce SLAs and validate invoices. Safety, Compliance & Risk Champion a strong safety culture. Review and approve contractor JHAs and work plans. Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Development, and Finance teams. Support budgeting and lifecycle planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant energy operations experience.
  • Experience managing operating assets and vendors.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical systems knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • BESS or distributed energy experience.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
