About The Position

Titan International's Carlstar Specialty Division is a leading producer of specialty tires, wheels, and assemblies for diverse end markets including: lawn & garden, construction, power sports (primarily all-terrain vehicle tires), trailers, and agriculture. Through the implementation of efficient operational (enhanced SIOP, lean manufacturing, inventory planning, optimization of the distribution network, redesign and value engineering of compounds and products, improved process control, activity based costing, etc.) and intelligent commercial (dynamic pricing and material margin management, new product development, refined channel management, new account conquests, etc.) strategies, the company is targeting improving performance to over 12% EBITDA margins on substantially higher revenue over time. Position Summary: The Operations Manager will lead and oversee day to day operations. of our 180,000 square foot (SF) distribution center with 25+ employees on a Day shift operation. The Operations Manager is responsible to develop coach and mentor site supporting staff, establish processes and KPI’s to manage the DC. Work collaboratively with all levels and functions of the organization and develop relationships with cross functional partners and other DC leaders. The Operations Manager will maintain and improve high levels of customer service and quality to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Effectively manage inventory. This position reports to the Director of OEM Distribution Pivotal Experience and Expertise: Carlstar seeks an action-oriented, self-driven, hands-on Operations leader with demonstrated WMS intellect, energy and wherewithal to lead and transform a growing team. 1. End-to-End Supply Chain Operations Managing inbound, light assembly, and outbound logistics Coordinating transportation, vendor deliveries, and customer shipments Experience with inventory flow optimization 2. Inventory & Warehouse Management Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcoding technologies Designing effective storage layouts and optimizing space utilization Reducing stock discrepancies and shrinkage through formal cycle counting and audits 3. Process Improvement Initiatives Leading Lean, or Kaizen projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency Streamlining workflows to reduce labor hours in all areas of the facility 4. People & Team Leadership Supervising warehouse supervisor, and floor staff Providing training and performance development programs Building a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and accountability 5. Health, Safety & Compliance Management Ensuring OSHA and other regulatory compliance Implementing safety programs, incident tracking, and audits Managing risk through hazard assessments and emergency response planning 6. Budgeting & Cost Control Managing operational budget Tracking cost-per-unit handled, assembly, and labor efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, engineering or related area.
• Minimum of 3-5yrs years of operating experience
• 2+ years of managing teams with performance metrics
• Light manufacturing / assembly experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects.
• Skilled with facility layout, warehouse flow, and pick sequencing.
• Demonstrated track record of assessing and developing talent.
• Ability to become a Systems super user, analyze and interpret data using excel.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and building direct customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement KPI's to improve facility efficiency and customers satisfaction.
• Ensure high level of inventory accuracy & control
• Effectively store inventory in the warehouse in order to maximize labor efficiencies and space utilization.
• Manage external recruiting and contractor relationships to ensure labor requirements are achieved.
• Lead employee engagement activities to maximize development and retention of employees.
• Create and implement leadership development program for staff
