About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of the FIL, UBC, PIO, and VPC departments. This role ensures the consistent and efficient productions of products in alignment with established safety, quality,, and productivity. The Operations Manager will lead and support a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and Team Members to drive operational excellence, optimize workflow, and foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience
  • Knowledge of managerial principles and practices
  • Skilled in organization work activities
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office
  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • 4-7 years of direct experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct day-to-day operations across the FIL, UBC, PIO, and VPC department.
  • Review production and operating reports regularly; identify and resolve production issues to minimize cost and prevent delays.
  • Ensure daily production plans are developed, communicated, and executed effectively across all relevant departments and personnel.
  • Monitor performance to ensure production, quality, and delivery goals are met consistently in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Uphold quality control standards and ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Provide clear, consistent leadership and direction to all levels of staff, promoting accountability and a high-performance culture.
  • Evaluate team strengths and weaknesses to optimize labor assignments and support skill development.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to supports operational alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain open lines of communication regarding the production assignments and issues that affect planned objectives.
  • Coach and mentor Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Team Members.
  • Perform record keeping associated with the effective management of FIL, UBC, PIO, and VPC operations; including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure attendance records are maintained and corrective action is being issued.
  • Ensure 5S is being maintained.
