The Title Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team within DriveTime’s Titles department. This role ensures vehicle titles are received, underwritten according to regional or state requirements, and processed efficiently. The Manager drives operational excellence by maximizing productivity, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of management experience required
  • Data entry experience, minimum 6 months and 40 wpm

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive titles experience is a plus!
  • Associates/Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct a team of 10–12 Title Coordinators to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex title-related inquiries and issues.
  • Track and evaluate team performance metrics to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Provide regular coaching, mentorship, and feedback to support professional development.
  • Analyze and report auction and title vendor trends to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing training to align team skills with evolving business goals.
  • Cultivate a team environment focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to build a skilled and confident team.
  • Guide the team through organizational changes and process improvements in a fast-paced setting.
