About The Position

Plant Manager FP Filtration – A FilterPro USA Company 📍 Ocala, Florida FP Filtration, a FilterPro USA company, manufactures high-volume air filtration products used by businesses across the Southeast and Midsouth United States. Plant Manager Ocala FL Our products serve an important purpose, and our customers rely on us to deliver them quickly and correctly. FP Filtration is hiring a Plant Manager to lead our 45,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Ocala, Florida. This role will build and lead a team of 15–20 employees while improving production efficiency and supporting the growth of FilterPro USA across the Southeast. The Plant Manager has direct authority over production operations, hiring and training production staff, production scheduling, safety execution, and operational improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure orders are completed efficiently
  • Define production guidelines and ensure team members understand their goals
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain strong understanding of all operational processes and product flow
  • Optimize plant layout and workflow to maximize efficiency
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor production team members
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability across the team
  • Develop redundancy and cross-training for all key positions
  • Address employee concerns and manage interpersonal issues professionally
  • Review and execute daily and weekly production schedules
  • Ensure materials are available to meet production demand
  • Coordinate with other departments to support operations
  • Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Perform daily quality checks and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Maintain and enforce all safety standards
  • Lead safety discussions and ensure compliance
  • Collect and analyze production data to reduce waste and inefficiencies
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
