About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of an assigned shift(s) and employees within; including production output, compliance, driving lean initiatives and achieving set metrics. The Supervisor will oversee their employees inside a manufacturing environment and ensure adherence to company policy and procedures. This position will be critical in the success of the department and will help Exalta maximize the amount of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in operations management or supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring performance to standard.
  • Meet production schedule daily and weekly.
  • Improve labor efficiency and throughput.
  • Daily tracking of Operator level KPIs.
  • Identify and escalte safety issues to the Safety Manager.
  • Support employee selection, onboarding, training, and development. Provide coaching and feedback to team members and promote a culture of employee safety, engagement, and positive morale.
  • Interfaces with all departments regarding production needs and demand.
  • Serve as a leader and advocate for team recognition by assessing performance, identifying growth and promotion opportunities, and partnering with the Operations Manager on advancement decisions.
  • Ensures operators have the tools and equipment to complete their jobs
  • Ensures all required operations (daily cleaning, environmental sampling, etc.) are completed and provide feedback to operators on quality results to improve their quality performance
  • Leads and monitors compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
  • Ability to complete transactions in the ERP system to issue raw material and release shop orders
  • Willingness to learn and understand manufacturing processes and procedures such as, but not limited to the nonconforming rework process.
  • Ability to critically think through and analyze data to make the best-informed decision for the company.
