Requirements
- Electrical / Electrical‑Electronic trade certification.
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience (automotive preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, speed controls, CNC controls, and automation equipment.
- Experience with powder metal presses, grinding, and sintering equipment is ideal.
- Self‑motivated, independent problem solver.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of pneumatics, stamping presses (40–500 ton), grinding processes, and heat‑treat operations.
- Experience with cranes, lift trucks, hoists, and material‑handling devices.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering schematics and O&M manuals.
Responsibilities
- Repair, install, maintain, and test industrial electrical equipment and controls (motors, transformers, wiring, switches, alarms, etc.).
- Install, calibrate, operate, and maintain PLCs for manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform required repairs.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs and maintain records.
- Test equipment for safety and efficiency, inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding.
- Perform major motor repairs or rewinds when required.
- Prepare purchase orders or requisitions for electrical components.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and JE Quality (IATF 16949 / ISO 14001).
- Adhere to Johnson Electric policies and perform other duties as assigned.
