Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 2nd Shift Inspector. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in order to understand production documents
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Basic math skills required
- Computer skills required
- Close attention to detail skills required
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
Responsibilities
- Set up multi meters with proper nominals and tolerances as stated in work documents
- Read and interpret instructions on work documents and customer specifications
- Use a microscope to visually inspect parts per work instruction for the correct dimensional and visual criteria
- Package parts per the work instructions or forward parts to other departments for further testing
