Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 1st Shift Plate Inspector responsible for visual and electrical inspection of surface mount parts. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret production documents.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
Responsibilities
- Setting up multi-meters with proper nominals using computer software.
- Using a microscope to ensure parts match the required dimensions.
- Recording necessary information in logbooks and on the Dynamics E-logs.
- Packing or forwarding parts to different departments as instructed.
