About The Position

Select’s Operator I – Water Transfer performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, laying flat hose and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac jobs. Works on a crew and is responsible for setting up, operating and rigging down jobs safely.Applies basic skills in loading and unloading pipe, field materials and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport.Duties may laying and picking up poly line, laying flat hose, running transfer pumps and essential equipment for water transfer operations. Sets and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.Uses common hand and power tools.Assists in containment and spill clean ups.Driving trucks (non-CDL) and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task.Follows all safety procedures, uses proper PPE and successfully completes required trainings.

Requirements

  • One year of related work experience and/or equivalent training preferred.
  • Physical stamina
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift/move heavy objects
  • Ability to understand and follow directions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, machines and tools, including the designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
