Your team Cleveland’s technology and automation is cutting edge. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly. Our Cleveland plant has been an integral part of Baxter for over 60 years. The work is challenging and rewarding, as Baxter offers competitive compensation and benefits. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical ability, and technical experience and education
  • Competence to read, write, use a calculator and operate maintenance tools.
  • Prior machine operating experience & the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Capability to comprehend and interpret electronic documents and specifications.
  • Computer proficient
  • Your ability to be cross train in other departments.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Able to complete documentation legibly.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Low absenteeism.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to lift above the shoulders up to 2 pounds repetitively.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Start up and readiness of machines and support equipment prior to production.
  • Monitoring equipment & clean and set-up sub assembly and tray cleaning equipment
  • Mixing solvents
  • Using your Forklift license to maneuver items throughout the department in a safe efficient manner.
  • Using your mechanical skills to troubleshoot machines such as changing out dies and other mechanical & electrical parts.
  • Complete production release documentation associated with the operation legibly.
