Requirements

  • Mechanical ability, and technical experience and education
  • Competence to read, write, use a calculator and operate maintenance tools.
  • Prior machine operating experience & the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Capability to comprehend and interpret electronic documents and specifications.
  • Computer proficient
  • Your ability to be cross train in other departments.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Able to complete documentation legibly.
  • Good social skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Low absenteeism.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to lift above the shoulders up to 2 pounds repetitively.
  • High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Additional technical experience, training or education a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Start up and readiness of machines and support equipment prior to production.
  • Monitoring equipment & clean and set-up sub assembly and tray cleaning equipment
  • Mixing solvents
  • Using your Forklift license to maneuver items throughout the department in a safe efficient manner.
  • Using your mechanical skills to troubleshoot machines such as changing out dies and other mechanical & electrical parts.
  • Complete production release documentation associated with the operation legibly.
