About the position
The Operator - Level 3 position involves setting up and running print or print finishing equipment, and/or extruding equipment. This is an opportunity level position with great room for growth. The operator will read work orders and perform tasks as assigned by the department supervisor. Responsibilities include unpacking, catching, bagging, shrink wrapping, and sometimes running digital and mechanical production equipment to produce sub-assemblies or finished products. The operator will also attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages, pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes, log production in schedule boards, notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, place finished goods on the designated pallet, and maintain a clean and safe work area while ensuring quality and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Setup and run print or print finishing equipment, and/or extruding equipment.
- Read work orders and perform work as assigned by department supervisor.
- Unpack, catch, bag, shrink wrap, and run digital and mechanical production equipment as necessary.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Log production in schedule boards.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain quality and a great attitude.
Requirements
- A desire to succeed.

- Computer literate.
- Good mechanical ability, including math and measurement skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with digital print, print finishing, or extrusion.
