Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently; think for themselves
  • Ability to handle & resolve problems
  • Good, common sense
  • Must be punctual; at line on time
  • Regularly required to stand and communicate
  • Occasionally required to stretch, bend, climb or balance
  • Often required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequently required to lift 5 to 35 pounds
  • Communicate with management as required

Responsibilities

  • Organize and load bags/rolls in to the regrind operation
  • Alerts Setup Techs to questions or concerns when necessary
  • Breaks down a disposes of boxes, cores, Gaylord, and pallets
  • Performs quality checks on regrind
  • Stores semi-finished product appropriately
  • Keeps his/her line neat, organized, and clean of debris for safety reasons
  • Cutting scrap off cores.
  • Weighs resin boxes produced during the shift and properly reports production
  • May be used for training new people.
  • Works a 12-hour day, 3-4 days a week; every other weekend is mandatory
  • Efficient operation of machinery to produce quality regrind
  • Assist in cleaning of the regrind line and PM’s
  • Spraying and wiping machine clean
  • Keep scrap area neat and organized
