Reporting to Practice Manager, the Ophthalmic Assistant provides clinical support to the Physician(s) and Advanced Practice Provider(s) (APPs). The Ophthalmic Assistant provides the medical history, initial exam, and ancillary testing for patients prior to seeing the physician(s) or APP(s). The Ophthalmic Assistant is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA and HIPAA regulations and ensuring completion of all duties vital to patient care.
