About The Position

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of OPS Case Manager in Student Services. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. As OPS Case Manager, the day-to-day responsibilities will include: Non-clinical case management for students – connecting to resources on-campus and off-campus, assessing needs, ensuring they are given access to tools needed to reach their personal and academic goals. Assistance with continued contact/new contact with community (off-campus) resources and with general case management events, ex: Workshops, panels, resource fairs. etc. Assistance with our Emerging Eagles program and knowledge of the population “students formerly in foster care” and the adversities that they generally face entering adulthood & college. Work Schedule: 25 hours per week, between 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or other social sciences.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations and the systems that impact them.
• Cultural humility, active listening, organizational and time management skills, ability to communicate effectively, effective working independently, and the ability to handle confidential information.
