- Time sheet and EAR entry within the required time frame- Subject to emergency duty in the event of a natural disaster- Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.- Confidentiality: Incumbent may have access to records containing social security numbers in the performance of their job duties.- This position is responsible for phone response and assistance for the FDOH Marion County WIC Program/Breastfeeding Program. The incumbent is expected to promote cooperation, courtesy, and teamwork, in a diverse environment and as an employee of the FDOH Marion County, represents the agency and its mission and values while acknowledging that all information held in health records is confidential, with access governed by the state and federal laws Confidential information includes the clients name, address, medical social and financial data and services received. Maintains current knowledge of the Federal WIC program regulations including WIC memos, WIC FL-WiSE clinic manual and the FL WIC Manual DHM 150-24.- Telephone:o Answering multi-line phone and inputting information into the FL-WISE computer system.o Transferring phone calls to multiple locations and recipients. Responsible for triaging calls to program staff for proper and timely handling.o Assists callers and clients with program questions, appointments scheduling and informing them what they may need to bring at their upcoming appointment.
