About The Position

This position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Information Technology Unit in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is responsible for providing support within the IT division.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical experience; or
  • A High School diploma or its equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience working with computer hardware and peripherals (e.g., desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, printers).
  • Basic experience using office productivity software, Microsoft Office or O365.
  • Basic experience using the Windows operating system.
  • Basic understanding of data protection.
  • Basic understanding of malware removal
  • Basic understanding of firewalls

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephone and responds to email and phone requests.
  • Computes, records, and proofreads data and other information.
  • Communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals.
  • Operates office machines
  • Keeps track of inventory control of hardware in the regions. This includes IT equipment and peripheral delivery. Prepares related reports as needed.
  • Organize materials, supplies and services, and maintain records.
  • Reviews electronic files and records, and research other documents as needed to obtain information and respond to customer requests.
  • Performs all other related duties as requested.
