Optical Systems Evaluation Engineer
About The Position
Looking for an experienced engineer (MS or PhD in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics or related field) with minimum 5 years experience to lead an experimental evaluation effort of a novel optical analytical system. Background in optical testing and systems, with emphasis on fluorescence and biological fluorescence analysis is desired. The candidate will perform a large number of experiments and organize and process large volumes of imaging data. The candidate will be expected to digest the data and propose new avenues of exploration and system improvements based on the results. Experience with python programming and automation of data analysis is a plus. Strong team work and communication skills a must. Requires presence in Wilmington due to the hands-on in-the-lab nature of the position.
