Escondido Eyecare is excited to welcome a part-time and/or fill-in Optometrist to our practice in Escondido, California. Our practice emphasizes thorough patient-centered care; taking the time to educate patients about their symptoms, treatment options, and long-term eye health. We’re especially passionate about prevention, including guidance on protective eyewear like sunglasses and blue-light lenses. We capture retinal images and OCT’s on every single patient. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team and have access to modern diagnostic equipment, including Optos with OCT, autorefractors, digital lensometer, FDT visual field, slit lamp, phoropter, and BIO. Patients also benefit from a curated optical selection, on-site lab, and access to eye drops and vitamins for their visual needs.
Requirements
- California Optometry license
- TPA certification
- Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations
- Provide medical and emergency eye care
- See an average of 10 patients per day
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and prevention
