VSP Ventures has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Optometrist to care for patients of all ages, visual conditions, and medical diagnoses at several locations in the Bay Area, including Eye Love Optometry in Pinole, University Optometry in Palo Alto, Optometry At Redwood Shores in Redwood City, Mountain View Optometry in Mountain View, and East Hills Vision Care Optometry in San Jose. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside other talented professionals and enjoy a flexible weekly schedule while serving diverse communities across these cities. What you'll do: As a full-time floating Optometrist, you’ll deliver comprehensive vision care to patients across state-of-the-art practices equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, such as Retinal imaging, Optos, and other advanced tools. You’ll work a consistent 8-hour day and are scheduled for two Saturdays per month, allowing for both flexibility and work-life balance. You’ll be supported by a highly skilled staff throughout each examination, ensuring a seamless workflow and excellent patient experience. On average, you will care for approximately 22 patients per day, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a dynamic and engaging work environment. Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
