About The Position

Sunshine Vision Services in Homestead, Florida is seeking a Florida-licensed optometrist to join our warm and welcoming practice. We’re looking for a caring and competent doctor who speaks English and some Spanish and is skilled in performing comprehensive eye exams, managing medical cases such as foreign bodies and corneal abrasions, and interpreting OCT and visual field results. You’ll see a diverse range of patients from both Homestead and the Keys, supported by a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. As an optometrist at Sunshine Vision Services, you’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and medical evaluations, seeing approximately 10 to 16 patients per day. You’ll interpret OCT scans (nerve, macula, angles), fundus photos, visual fields, and pachymetry results and manage conditions such as foreign body removal. A solid understanding of both routine and medical eye care is essential. You’ll be supported by experienced technicians who handle pre-testing, including visual field testing.
