What you’ll do and how you’ll grow: - Provide critical support in the operating room: set up, organize, and maintain sterile fields; prepare trays and instruments; anticipate the team’s instrument needs; assist with instrument counts and timeouts to ensure patient safety. - Assist in diverse surgical teams across specialties, adapting to different workflows, instrumentation, and room layouts, while upholding rigorous safety standards and infection control protocols. - Support patient positioning, draping, and transfer as needed, and collaborate closely with circulating nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgeons to contribute to smooth case flow and efficient turnover. - Participate in ongoing learning opportunities, from new instrumentation and equipment to evolving sterile technique and safety practices, with access to continuing education support and cross-training within the OR. - Take advantage of professional growth pathways, mentorship opportunities, and extended assignments that broaden your expertise, enhance your certifications, and position you for future leadership roles.
