Oracle Database Administrator
About The Position
Sperton Global is hiring two Oracle Database Administrators on behalf of our client. You will provide production support for mission-critical systems, handle complex incidents, manage RAC/Data Guard/GoldenGate environments, and drive automation as a senior DBA and SME. The job holder is responsible for production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues Lead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team members Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setups Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery Identify automation and Self Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard Golden Gate Expertise in 12c 19c versions OEM Build and Deploy Implement Solutions Perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning Troubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutions Expertise in designing Backup Recovery strategies Expertise in Role swap Failover planning and implementation Strong technical knowledge of database space management Implementing releases service requests Expertise of Golden Gate Replication
Requirements
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Oracle cloud services
- Oracle RAC
- ORACLE RMAN
- GoldenGate-DB Administration
- Oracle DB Administration
- Oracle Linux Administration
- Currently based in Italy with valid work permit /citizenship
- Proven experience working as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator in complex production environments
- Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard Golden Gate
- Expertise in 12c 19c versions OEM

- Knowledge on Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge on UNIX based OS
- Knowledge of MongoDB Db2 LUW technology
- Knowledge of automation tool like Ansible Puppet Tanium
- Knowledge about Agile practices and DevOps tools
