Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in related fields. MS or equivalent experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and development of computing systems for space, including reliability, radiation tolerant strategies, environmental tolerances, and thermal solutions
  • 12+ years or more of experience in system architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and validation for space systems
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large projects involving co-development of silicon, systems, and software
  • Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA products
  • Experience solving mechanical challenges for rocket launches
  • Experience with beam testing and silicon features required for use in space

Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture for orbital datacenter systems considering everything from the chip out to the satellite and connectivity between satellites
  • Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to build a roadmap that guides development of future NVIDIA products for space
  • Analyze performance, power, and cost of different solutions to inform architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA’s key customers and system development partners to align on consistent strategies
  • Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure industry roadmaps are aligned to NVIDIA needs
  • Work across engineering and operations teams to define systems from concept through large production deployments
  • Summarize and examine competitor solutions to keep track of industry developments and trends
